Chlamydospores production enhancement of Duddingtonia flagrans in a solid-state fermentation system

Resistance structures such as chlamydospores produced by the fungus Duddingtonia flagrans allow reduction of infectious larvae from gastrointestinal nematodes. The objective this research was to study effect carbon and nitrogen sources on production in a solid state fermentation system (SSF). Twelve substances were studied using statistical strategy, evaluating their Chlamydospores Finally, an optimization modifications that favor defined, these predatory capacity evaluated. Optimal conditions variability 0.25% w / ammonium sulfate 0.56% sodium acetate broken rice. maximum concentration reached under condition 2.27x107 g dry substrate-1, with productivity 1.62x106 substrate-1 day-1.
